A kids' paint party is fun for all ages. Pick from our upcoming events near you, and the artist will share easy step-by-step instructions. No painting experience necessary.
Bonus: We do all the cleaning—you just handle the mucky fingers!
Prefer your family nights at home? We’ve got those covered, too, with our series of virtual events (live host) and on-demand events (pre-recorded).
Get the tools to host your own painting party from home. We’ll send a pre-recorded video tutorial made with parties in mind, ship all the art supplies and provide a Spotify playlist.
Shirley Temples are a classic, but have you tried a Shirley Ginger? Ask your server for a Shirley Temple with ginger ale and a dash of Sprite.
For some added fun, make them together at home:
PaintNite.com’s family nights are a unique way to spend quality time together, bond, cut down on screen time and create masterpieces (or hot messes) to cherish for years to come.
This isn’t a serious art class—all skill levels can join in. Perhaps you learn something. Or maybe you just stick your hands in the paint and smear them on the canvas—so long as you’re not splattering paint on the living room walls!

Sometimes, but they aren’t displayed as “Family Night”
(that’s more the vibe).
Keep an eye on our calendar and use the “Kids And Up+
“ filter to view our family-friendly events.
Events typically take 1.5–2 hours, but feel free to
hang out at the venue before/after and keep the fun
rolling. Free time as a family is precious, after all!
Our other experiences last roughly the same amount of
time.
Although canvas painting is our most common and popular option, it isn’t the only one. We also have Plant Nites for kids, flower workshops and more.
We’ll give you all the necessary art supplies for an
in-person kids’ paint night, including paint, brushes
and an apron. The same goes for our other in-person
events for children.
We don’t provide food or drink, but you can buy them
from the venue—we’ll have our own server so your party
can stay together.
Just check the description box for a virtual Paint
Night at home, as what’s included may vary. With our
pre-recorded events, you can go with or without
supplies.
Nope! A family painting class just requires your readiness for fun and laughter.
You can prepare by setting up a space with plenty of ventilation, laying down newspaper or drop cloths to protect your surfaces, and gathering all the materials you'll need for your project.
We use acrylic paint, which is cleaned with soap and
water.
Be sure to clean your paintbrushes and other materials
ASAP to prevent the paint from drying.
Kids of all ages are welcome, and the littlest ones are free to do their own thing. But to focus and follow along at a paint party, we’d say roughly 6+.
Instead of using a studio, we run our parties from local venues (e.g., restaurants) where we will have our own dedicated area. We’re passionate about supporting current local businesses and artists.
That's okay! A paint night with kids is not about
creating a masterpiece or becoming a professional
artist. It's about having fun, making memories and
bonding as a family.
Just relax and enjoy the process. These projects
aren’t created to be overly challenging but a break
from everyday life.
Absolutely! We have so many paintings to choose from—it’s easy to make this a fun family activity to enjoy regularly. Plus, you can go between a family paint night at home or in person.
If you go straight to an Event Owner (host), they do
their own pricing. However, if you go via our friends
at
Yaymaker, it is more standardized, but it depends on whether
you plan for a large or small group.
The best thing is to speak to your favorite host or
our event planners at yaymaker.com.
